Remove the left or right Upper U Drape, depending on the operative side, from it's external packaging per AORN protocol.

Upper U Drape

Align the Upper U Drape with the patient's upper thigh. Peel off the adhesive backing at the top of the drape and stick the adhesive along the upper thigh.

NOTE: If a tourniquet is being used, the drape can be used to isolate the tourniquet from the sterile field.

With the assistance of two (2) people, continue to unfold the drape on the left and right sides.

Remove the remaining adhesive backings and wrap the adhesive end around the upper thigh.

Unfold the top portion of the drape over the patient's torso and drape the non-operative leg.

Remove the Lower U Drape from its external packaging per AORN protocol. With the assistance of two (2) people, unfold the drape on the left and right sides.

Remove the adhesive backing and wrap the adhesive end around the hamstring.

Pull the clear drape down over the knee mount.

Place the patient's foot in the stockinette.

Use the tabs to pull the clear drape down to the Foot-End of the platform.

Remove the Knee Drape from its external packaging per AORN protocol. With the assistance of two (2) people, unfold the drape on the left and right sides. Place the patient's leg through the opening at the center of the drape.

Pull the top half of the drape over the patient's body and Head-End of the platform. Pull the lower half of the drape toward the Foot-End of the platform. Place the Knee Mount Gripper Liner over the Knee Mount Gripper.

Peel off the adhesive tabs from the Knee Foot Support Liner and insert the Liner into the Adante Knee Foot Support, starting with the heel.

Place the patient's foot into the Adante Knee Foot Support and secure the foot to the plate using Coban™
